I use a vacuum advance distributor and it works just fine.
My 408 stroker had power increase also when switching from a stock box to the rev box. Just my experience
I like my Rev box had it for a decade. Worked great but I don’t drive my Mopars as much as I should. The FBO is pretty local to me bout 30min drive.
Your 360 gonna be running this weekend?
Yeah that negative on the coil should be the black/yellow stripe wire off your ecu.
I mount mine veritcal, never any issues been over a year now. I bought a summit coil bracket think 25-30$
Awesome glad you got it figured out, and posted how you fixed it.
Supposedly look like this.
I’d goto mymopar.com and check out the free wiring diagram for your 72 Dart. I miss read, need to go back to school lol.
I’d mess around with the floor connection for the brights. That plug likes to wiggle loose.
I’ve got a mopar orange box that’s no good if somebody wants it.
I agree with toolman. I purchased some made in USA distributor caps from Halifax for my next tune-up.
69 is a one year switch only. 1970 they moved it to column
Wonder if there shop is still open it looked like a nice resto shop.
I hope they didn’t, Ive liked my rev box I’ve had almost 10 years.
I’d check the battery connections and the starter relay, sometimes a little wiggle fix the issue.
:lol::lol:Hahahahahah this is great.
I’d try to wiggle around on the bulk head connector on the firewall. Sometimes even little wiggle on negative battery cable.
I can get you a pic of where my number 1 on my distributor is pointing here in about 30m. Yours does look little to much in center.
[ATTACH] Here’s where my distributor is on my 273 charger engine with edelbrock and LD4B mopar electronic ignition.
Nice deal. That’s pretty much where I put my relays. Fits there nice and snug on my 65.
I’ve got the Ron Francis wiring harness in the box and what I planned on doing was just splicing there wiring into my mopar column plug.
How’d did you like the autowire kit?
1969 is a one year only ignition switch.
What year vehicle? Two wire or 1 wire alternator? I’d check your voltage regulator see if it’s gone bad. Dustin
I got mine in mail today lmao.
I’ve had issues with this also in a 67 Belvedere. Mine was a short in the bulk head connector. Dustin
Thanks appreciate the info. Dustin
