I have my 273 Commando wired and ready to start using a remote starter. How do I get power to the coil. Hot wire to ballast resister or to positive on the coil. I have pertonix point replacement. I haven't started on the interior so no wires are connected inside Thanks for your help

This is the Distributor that came on the 273 that I have. 1 red and 1 black

I left it at work. Just thought I would adk

I'm to the point of running the wiring and have a question. 2 wires come off the Distributor. I have a color coded wiring diagram but it doesn't show the red wire. I'm sure one wire goes to the coil but where does the other go. This system is stock.

Some were composite but some such as the head gaskets were a thin metal.

I'll try to find a part number. Everything went in place easily. The heads I purchased are stock heads. Number 301 and 302. Added new valves and seals. The gasket set I used came from summit I believe and was in a felpro box. Had everything I needed. Sorry I can't be more specific on the part...

I thought about adding a clear coat to the exhaust, Probably wouldn't help but may keep the red a while longer.

I know the manifolds will not stay red very long but painted them for protection. This has been a project that has taken much longer than I had planned

Has the original Commando cam. It is an automatic. I would have liked a 4 speed, but had surgery on my arm to repair torn ligaments I felt this was a better option for me.
