i don't know.. i've seen non repaired ones for under that 700-800 dollar price that the repops are going for. just have to keep looking. they pop up quite often.

cheaper to find used ones.

i found tti headers much less a pain in the *** then the 68-71 340 manifolds i am currently running.

i never trust what a magazine prints. those numbers can be correct I don't know. what i do know is that magazines can and do make article results look however they want the outcome to look. who knows what or what they didnt do in that test.

those look like truck manifolds.. i'd like to see actual 68-71 340 manifolds.. i think it really depends on your combo and intended use, i will say 340 manifolds are getting harder and way more expensive to buy. sure you can find a deal sometimes and get into them on the cheaper side but...

these patriot headers are just the same old cheap header design. been around for ever. hooker, headman, flotech...etc...etc...etc are all made that way,,

headman, hooker, flowtech and all the other cheep headers are built the same where the steering linkage goes through the header and the header hangs low.. dougs an tti go over the linkage and do not hang low.. you also have the tri y's from schmacher that don't hang low.. not cheap though..

careful ya you listen to on that show. for a couple of mopar fans they spew quite a bit of mis-information about putting a mopar together. sometimes i find myself shaking my head with what is said on that show.

whens the last time you drove in nj? i can tell you that 99.999% of the small block cars around her that are stock height (some higher) that are running the "cheap" headers all have smashed tubes. just a fact of life around here. power wise im sure they are close. hell the cheap ones may...

this is how i used to do it with cheap headers. it was so nice once i changed to tti headers. those plugs sre wide open on tti's

for a 67-up abody? tti or dougs headers will fit the best. mufflers are so subjective. everyone likes something different.. i like dynomax super turbos. friend has magnaflows that sound real good too.. may as well go 2 1/2" pipe while at it .

can't you pull it up through the engine bay? thats how i get mine out.

its a Chrysler 90* adapter. have to run one with the 340 manifolds i have. they pop up for sale a lot here.

toss those and get a set of remflex gaskets .

i don't think it will hurt any but is a waste of money if ya have a good 2.5" system on it already..
