Yea the removable seems to always be an issue. But do like the dial to check total timing without having to use timing tape. I'll look into that live you linked to

seems like my 25 year old craftsman light has about had it.. i guess it could just be the cord but not really sure. i replaced that many years ago.. anyway i'm in the market for a new one. i'd like to have the advance dial but its not mandatory but it does need to be able to work with a MSD...

I have one of those. It works great. I bought the smaller one. Should have gotten the large one and may still buy the large. Only takes one whack to split the oak I've been using. I like having some small splits standing by to make it easier to light off when I get up in the morning.

most of my stuff is crafstmen.. some husky,snapon and mac thrown in there... my crafstmen line wrenches just never felt right.. bought a used set of snapon line wrenches and the difference is amazing..

the way i heard it was they were built pretty well until the industry crashed in the 80's. they lost all kinds of good fabricators. now the industry is booming again but without the good fabricators and they are being rushed out the door...

6 months will defiantly drain the battery to nothing.. my radio and co detectors are powered with the battery hooked up. a week or two and its dead.. one of these days i'll put a disconnect switch on it.. maybe this summer... take the battery out and put it in the house on a battery...
