i highly doubt someone custom ordered axles just to fit a center section in that thing. pull an axle and see exactly what you have. if it were me i wouldn't waste the time re-drilling small bolt axles.. grab a set of dr. diff axles and then big bolt drum brakes. i have 11X2"...

bingo. i have had two dynamic convertors and been very happy with them. current one is a 9.5" and flashes to like 3800 if i remember correctly in our dart with a mild 360 and 3.23 gears. i out it around town quite often and you would never know it isnt a stock convertor.

I'm sure a convertor company could help ya if you atleast know the cyl pressures.

yea if you are running a 1970 technology convertor.

here is a picture of the play in mine. i pulled the slack out just to show it. mine has great shift points. the kd leaver plays in to it too but id adjust the cable first and see what happens. the lokar set up likes the short abody leaver..

yea until they get in a car with a real similar combination to theirs only with a good converter.. holy crap. the difference a good converter makes is amazing... they aren't cheap but make more of a difference then some other expensive modifications make.. they can also be the difference...

before deciding anything you really need to know the specs on everything in the engine, weight of the car and the intended use. if you plan of changing the cam do it then get the converter. any good shop will sell you the proper converter as long as you give the proper information and are 100%...
