Thought I'd see if anyone has one of these in decent shape they'd be willing to part with before I try to repair this one with a broken hinge.

I think I’ll try that route. That hinge is pretty rusted though. Must have leaked water and drained there at one time.

The driver's side fresh air vent door hinge is broken on my 1965 Dart. Looks like the bottom hinge rusted shut and it broke the hinge bracket off at the bottom when someone tried to force it open. The vent box itself is in pretty good shape. I could reuse the duct if I punch out the rivets and...

The brake light switch was faulty. I replaced it with this. It wasn’t $9.95. :) Works great now.

Of course had I RTFM better I would have found this and it would have explained everything.

Looking at the wiring diagram again. It does look like the stop switch power is connected with the turn signal switch. It looks like the wire at the back of the stop switch D4 is activated by releasing the plunger and power goes to the cluster and to the turn switch. I’m still learning to read...

Wouldn’t the turn signal switch failure make the turn signals not work? The turn lights are working and there is voltage to the brake light switch.
