There’s one similar in my town with a rowdy 383 SBC. Mini-tubbed. Runs 11.50’s or better on slicks.

They did that here a few years back and it continues. It was done to encourage people to shoot more does. So, haven’t used my smoke pole in years because of it. It shoots well but my centerfire rifles shoot better!

Well, yeah, modern technology has spoiled us. You forgot to mention rifled barrels and sabot bullets!! :lol:

@Sublime one : This is a short distance shack. More for bow hunting but will bring the firearm along in season too. Property line is about 60 yards from the shack. Water hole is 30 yards from the shack.

Made some good progress on the new hunting shack yesterday. A lot of work but should be worth it in the end. Wanted to get the roof on too but the wind told me otherwise!!

Came home years ago to strange noises upstairs. What I found was my Beagle had gotten into a box of crackers and got the box stuck on her head. She was running around, bashing into things and utterly clueless what to do! It was a good laugh!!

Top of the morning to ya! Finally quit raining at some point. Was still raining at 3AM. Guessing I got 3” or more but haven’t checked the rain gauge yet. Have a friend that lives a few miles from Lake Michigan and he had over 6” of rain yesterday before he went to bed. Nuts!
