    Tf 727 modify or not

As far as how many springs to put in the high clutch drum, that is going to depend on a few things. 1. How much pressure you will have the valve body turned up to 2. How many clutches and how much clearance you will have 3. Kickdown servo style (early 2 spring model, or late 1 spring model)...

Screwed the Pooch at Summit Team Finals Today in Texas

70 dart 470 ci drag car build.

Nothin like a little extra tire clearance in there for some insurance. And the tire you are running will work very well on that car. As you have seen, we are running that same tire on my dad's car and it works extremely well.

    My first bracket finals

Nice job! Car is on kill that’s for sure.

    Anti roll bar?

Yes they do. You’re running a caltrac setup on your car correct? Just need to make sure if you would do it, you would want to get the longer control arms so as the rear end separates, the adjuster doesn’t get locked into place with the control arm. With a caltrac and the amount of separation...

    Anti roll bar?

Based on your photos, I would 100% agree with them. Yes lots get away without running one, I was one of them to get away with it for years. But after I put it on, it was a game changer.

    Anti roll bar?

My car did similar body roll years back. I added the anti roll bar to my car it made a world of difference on how much smoother and more consistent my car launched. Mine is a 4 link rear suspension. We just put an anti roll on a roadrunner over the winter that has ladder bar, housing floater...

    World of Mopar at Norwalk

I’d say over 500 between racers and show cars. I know there was over 100 entries in both super pro and pro last year. So 200 cars right there. Plus the amount of cars in N/SS and Hemi SS. (Probably 75-100 total between the two classes). Then add sportsman class, I think there was well over 50...

Anybody ever make your own hood scoop plug?

I stuck an extra piece of foam in my dads roadrunner scoop. Both sides of the scoop stick out so there’s no mistaken that it’s in the scoop haha. It’s not fancy but it keeps crap out of carb.

Well I think my racing season is over

Good lord John. I’ll keep you in my prayers. I sure hope things get better for ya.

    727 transmission dilemma.

Yes, if you have a thrust washer out of place, or a seating issue with the sprag inner race , the snap ring on the output shaft would not seat into the groove.

Well I think my racing season is over

Sorry to hear this John. I sure hope the surgery goes well in November. Still 2 months away. I won’t doubt you’ll muster up enough energy to hit the Quaker Halloween race. It’s still a month off. Wishful thinking is all.

    Trans Shield/Scattershield Options/Alternatives

I know A&A has had CSR shields on order for well over a year, if not closer to 2. If you’re still in need, I would call A&A and get a blanket ordered. They have DJ safety custom made blankets that fit very nicely over a 727 and 904. One that shouldn’t need a bunch of modifications to make it work.

What do I need to do my electrical system in my dart.

I had a leash sportsman board in my car and then beginning of 2023 I purchased the K&R complete wiring kit. The leash was nice but the K&R I like much much better. For the simple fact I only have to plug the switch panel into the relay board and everything goes to its appropriate accessory...

68 Barracuda fastback tube chassis build

I am honestly not sure if it’s Moly. I believe it was a 7.50 cert and by the way some of the welds look, it looks like it was mig welded, so mild steel most likely. What all pieces do you have Sean? Very well may need some engine stuff. We talked about putting a glide in it, and that’s part of...

68 Barracuda fastback tube chassis build

No intention on any street usage. Pure bracket car. He has the Dart that he drives on the street from time to time. The whole point of the Cuda is to have a tube chassis car with mild power that we can setup to be deadly and make it live. The long term goal for the car is to have a fast engine...

Boy how fast things can change

Damn John, that really sucks. You aren’t kidding about this year not being a year to remember that’s for sure. When it doesn’t rain, it’s brutally hot. I hope weather changes for this weekend. Really will suck having the last points day rained out. At least it’s posted that if you get one round...
