I replaced mine on a Duster. Just took the wheel off & unbolted them. Made a note of the direction of the alignment cams. Had to whack the spindle to get the ball joint loose.

An early 71-74 360 block will work. Mine is a late '70. Bored .060, sonic tested good.

What a difference between .400 - .500 lift.

All I know is my 414 small block with 106 lsa oval track cam makes me giggle when I put my foot in to it. Killer idle too. Now I want nothing else! Torque was at least 450ft;lbs from 3000 to about 5400. It's only about 9.3 comp.

How is the low end with the Trick Flow? I bought their heads I figured I might as well get the intake. I know on Powernation it matched the dual plane on the low end on the stroker they done.

Are these tests with the intake bolted to the head?

I have FiTech on my 414. It would backfire because the adjustable distributor rotor would come loose.

I tune it myself. Still learning though. Took a while to get it to stop stalling when I would turn a corner. Turns out it was the IAC steps.

My 414 Duster has a Comp flat tappet with specs of 242/250, 106 lsa, 107 ic installed, weighs 3300, 3.55 rear, 28" tires & 4 speed. Makes killer low end & mid range but is done @5400. I have FiTech efi, air gap intake. Timing was locked out @ 34 degrees & was a dog on the low end with a carb...

How can a snap ring "pop out" since it's under pressure?

My late '70 360 block was sonic checked when I sent it out to be machined. Can't recall the numbers but I was told it was good at .060. Early 360 blocks,'71-'74, were supposedly cast with the same water jacket cores as 340's.

They are actually made by Hooker. At least mine came in a Hooker box.

Glad I grabbed the A body headers about a year or so ago. Right now they are not available anymore.
