As one that looked forward to new car reveals, it was more in September than August that new car models came out.

    What Engine Is This?

My Dad bought a new 67 Plymouth and it came with an LA engine not a poly. So Aug. 66 would be a good time to start building LA's and leave the Poly's up in Canada.

Just a Note About New Lifters

With all the trouble trying to get new lifters and cams to mate well, we have another problem thrown in. Glad to see you caught it before they were installed. I bought a new cam and lifters and I guess it pays to see the internals of the new lifters before installation.

[WANTED] For '71 Duster - center console floor mounting brackets; floor shifter assembly and/or complete shifter linkage between shifter and transmission

Whatever you buy you may have shipping costs as a big factor for high prices. If you shop around, you may get better prices. rear main leak

How do the Top Fuel Hemi's prevent rear main seal leaks? It seems like putting out 5000- 8000 HP would surely make a seal leak or at least beg for mercy. The first of the mid 60 hemi's running didn't have the problem because they were the 2 piece seals. Maybe the ones running today may have the...

I had a 58 Fury with the 350 and 2 4bbls with 147,000 miles when I quit driving it and bought a 68 Road Runner. That 58 sold me on the B engines. Just couldn't keep a tranny in it, auto and then converted to stick.

1973 Dodge Dart Sport won’t run right or stay running

So after putting on 4 barrel carb problem showed up. What carb? was it new or laying around for several years? I said fuel filter should at least be half full and that way you know you have fuel to the carb. So it sounds more like a carb problem now.

1973 Dodge Dart Sport won’t run right or stay running

You replaced everything that was good. Problems like this you have to eliminate step by step. Check spark when it dies. Check to see if there is gas in the carburetor. Could be a clogged fuel filter or a weak fuel pump. Have you had car long or just got it? Do you have a clear fuel filter? If...
