Unable to shift into reverse gear at full lock

Hey All, am looking for help (as always ). I had previously dropped my steering column to remove my instrument cluster in my 1973 Plymouth Scamp. I got the cluster back in and lifted the column back into place but am wondering if i have messed something up beneath the cluster on the reinstall...

Help needed - ignition problems after instrument cluster work

I think so - as my previous reply - maybe something got loose on the final all tightened back together part. The noise through the radio is weird too. But going to shuffle around a little tomorrow or when no work permits.

Help needed - ignition problems after instrument cluster work

Yep - I did and when I wired up and retested before tightening everything in fully place it was working. And it worked again once after everything was tightened into place and then the current scenario. But maybe something got shifted or loose again in that final tightening fit - it’s just that...

Help needed - ignition problems after instrument cluster work

Hey All - I took my instrument cluster out this weekend to replace the step down transformer, in the hope of getting the fuel, voltmeter and engine temp gauges firing again. I replaced the old transformer with a solid state one (but didn’t replace the little technical paper underneath it). When...

Hotchkis or QA1 all inclusive kits - which one?

I’ll be under the car, all being well, this week and will come back to you and share a snap. There is power steering and powered brakes - looks like stock but when I get under car properly with mechanic will confirm. Wheel wise - want to keep the spirit of mopar, so if pushed would probably keep...

Hotchkis or QA1 all inclusive kits - which one?

I think we’re on the same page re driving enjoyment - everything you’ve included is really useful - thank you. I do have power steering and as expected it’s not very tight or engaging, so will be checking that out with Bergman too, thankfully have some ‘slightly’ wider tires and rims than stock...

Hotchkis or QA1 all inclusive kits - which one?

Warning - got a little trigger happy with the typing… @junkyardhero - I’d like to be on the same page as you - I like the sound of 1/2 cost for the same results - if you share your perfect list would love to hear it. Everything to my limited knowledge, from visual checks under the car and...

Hotchkis or QA1 all inclusive kits - which one?

Hi all, I need some advice. I have just purchased a 1973 Plymouth Scamp and am head over heels in love - don’t worry, no relationship advice needed . But I do need some suspension advice. I’m wholesale going to tighten up the handing and make it dynamically better - I know I want a kit (not a...
