    [FOR FREE] /6 engine

I really don't want to pull the motor apart. If I don't get rid of it whole by the end of next week, I'm scraping it. It's still in the car & I'm working on removing the drive shaft & exhaust head pipe so if someone wants the whole thing it will be ready to remove.

Not sure if I'm going to Carlisle yet but I will tell you if I am. What parts do you need? I might have already removed them.

    [FOR FREE] /6 engine

Sounds good. I hate to scrap it. I'm 30 minutes North of Philly not far from the Pa. Turnpike, I-95/I-295 & Rt.1 if he's interested.

    [FOR FREE] /6 engine

Any interest? If not, it will be going to the scrap yard next week. Hate to do it but can't store it either.

Anyone know the brand of traction bars? Any good?

Get rid of them! A pinion snubber & leaf spring clamps on the front section of the springs is what Mopar used. Just my opinion.

Fell out of the attic and broke my foot

I've broken a couple bones in my life & it's a PITA but, you could have hurt yourself WAY worse so be glad for that, trust me I know. A broken bone in the foot sucks, but it WILL heal. Good luck & keep movin'.

Tony's Parts in Delaware might have them.

    Duster upper interior trim

Has anyone installed the metal inner door & rear side window trim pieces from a 72 & earlier Duster on a 73 & later Duster with the plastic trim? Can it be done without major modifications to the car? The plastic trim I have on the car is good but the inner window sweeps are a one-time press on...

Chryslers at Carlisle 2023 who is going

I would surely like to make it again, it's only a 2hr drive down the Turnpike for me & I always enjoy going when I can. I will also look into getting a space for next year to sell some stuff I have & camp-out, mainly because shipping parts is WAY out of hand lately. (Thanks Brandon!)

    94 5.2L Magnum running rough

My 95 Dakota with a factory 5.2 Magnum was 45psi at the injector rail port & that was from the factory service manual. I had no vacuum operated fuel pressure regulator on the engine, the in-tank pump regulated the pressure. I don't think your fuel pressure is low enough or too high to cause a...

    94 5.2L Magnum running rough

I would surely replace the plugs anyway. Good old Autolite 3924s work fine in these engines so there is no need to use expensive ones. It is possible one of the plugs has cracked porcelain/insulator from removal & installation. A spark plug socket should be used on these, it prevents this from...

Has anyone ported stock magnum heads and have the before and after flow numbers .???

Contact Utawsome Performance. Marty, the owner has been working on these motors since they came out in 1992. He's a good guy & very knowledgeable about these engines. He'll have the answers you're looking for.

1971 slant six 225 no spark or weak spark at plugs?

Yep! That does not surprise me at all. You have to be very careful buying aftermarket parts anymore. I've used a WVE part before & will never use them again. Even a long established company like Standard has crappy parts a lot of times. Most things, even aside from car parts, are made in CHINA &...

    [FOR FREE] /6 engine

Long block w/904 trans. Turns over by hand. Looks to be pretty clean w/under 90,000 miles. What you see is what you get for $0. You come & get it by early June, then it's going to the scrap yard with what's left of the car. It's in a 74 Duster I pretty much gutted because it's not worth fixing...

    73 fold down seat molding

A sunroof on any Mopar is a pretty rare option. Good luck with the car.

    73 fold down seat molding

Now I will have to check if my current 73 Duster EVER had this. I had a nice original one almost 40 years ago I bought off an old woman, but I don't remember that car having it either. I wish I kept THAT car. It was a Dark Green, white interior car with buckets & a console with an automatic on...

    Slant 6 parts

Car had no air cleaner on it, throttle cable is an aftermarket one, has no A/C & is a drum brake car. I will take the trans. kick down linkage off. I plan on removing the steering box also.

    73 fold down seat molding

Looks like good old pinch weld molding. Most restoration places will have it in most all factory colors too. What is the seat from? I have a Space Duster & it doesn't have this. A Body Barracuda?

1971 slant six 225 no spark or weak spark at plugs?

YEP. First off, check to make sure you have a GOOD ground from the engine to the body & engine to K frame.

    Slant 6 parts

I am scraping a very rotted parts car & would like opinions on what parts on the engine I should remove, other than the gingerbread like the alternator, P/S pump, distributor, & all bracketry related to all of these things. I have pretty much gutted this thing except for the drivetrain & I don't...

What is the piece called that goes here?

Sounds like a good idea, just keep looking for the correct belt molding trim for it. Someone on this site might have it & is willing to sell it, but probably won't be cheap.

What is the piece called that goes here?

Pretty rare (& nice) option on a Demon/Duster/Dart Sport. I don't think anyone reproduces them either. Looks like a pretty nice ride too.

[FOR SALE] Dodge Ram P/U Headlights

I have a pair of headlight assemblies I removed from a 2001 Dodge P/U that bought & replaced with the stock style headlights. I do not like these & want to get rid of them. They work & look fine, I just prefer the stock one MUCH more. Anyway, they are pretty nice units, with all the wiring...

[FOR SALE] Old style Hemi Hood scoop

I think this is a 65-67 style Hemi type scoop. Very nice shape, no cracks, chips etc. All mounting tabs intact & solid. Selling for $90+ shipping, which may be costly because of bulkiness & distance of shipping, so the closer you are to S.E. Pa., 19030 Zip code, the cheaper the shipping will be...
