    Torsion bar clocking

I think both LCAs need to be close to full droop when installing the torsion bars. It doesn’t matter how the bars themselves are rotated but there is a left side and a right side. They should be stamped on the back

Small Hard line to 1970 duster front 10" drums

Back when I still had drums I went to the parts store and bought the shortest pre made lines with the right fittings and coiled them up

The pickup mounts are about 3/4” thicker and have about 1” less offset. I have a pickup mount on my passenger side. It works but it’s not easy

My motor mount has been cut in half and also smashed. It’s shimmed on both sides and I have minimal clearance between everything. I don’t think it hits anywhere though. I have a QA1 K btw

So We Finally Get A Two Door

    I’m definitely a V8 guy, but I’d much rather have an I6 over a V6

    71 Dakota100 suspension build

Sounds pretty similar to the Crown Vic swap. But I’m already committed to doing this and I don’t mind the challenge.

Never seen one of those. If I had it I’d probably lift it on some Dana 60/70s and 37s lol

    71 Dakota100 suspension build

I’m finally getting around to starting on my ‘71 D100 that I’ve had sitting in the background. When I bought this truck, it “yard drove”. Floors were as strong as a used paper straw and more see through than your screen door, brakes nonexistent, and the steering was like trying to lead an...

expert help needed (my first post)

If you’re starting from scratch, a big block is not much more expensive than a small block, but since you already have a small block, it would definitely be cheaper to stay with a small block if you’re not going to be making big changes. My Duster was a roller when I got it and I found a decent...

    Ball hone?

I decided to take it to a local welding shop and see what they could do. I think it looks pretty good and the bolt threads in clean now. I guess we’ll see if it holds. I’ll probably take it to a machine shop soon to get it bored and decked. I’m going to loctite a stud into the hole to...

    Burnt wire

What year is the car? Find a wiring diagram and see what that pin in the connector goes to. For 1970 it looks like it goes from the starter relay to the ammeter

    Brake bleeding issues

I always gravity bleed my brakes before I start pumping them. It sounds like you might have a clogged line though. Maybe crack the line loose at the rear brake hose and see if you have pressure there, then work out from there.

Need advise on Sub frame connectors

I used the US Car Tool connectors but honestly wish I would’ve just used some square tubing like above because they were a pain to make fit right.

    Bumper stickers

Had a buddy make a couple stickers. Everyone that sees my RamCharger calls it a Bronco. The one on the Duster is just a funny movie quote. What stickers do y’all have?

If it wasn’t going to be raining I’d probably show up. Hopefully next month it’ll be clear. I need to take a nice drive.

    Finally secure

We finally got some doors put up on the garage that my Dad and I have been building. It’s a great feeling to have all of my stuff locked up and safe in a dry place. It’s not 100% dried in yet, but we’re getting close. Thinking about getting a 2 post lift now.

    Ball hone?

I’m definitely going to find a different block for my stroker. I just hate to throw this block out, but I also don’t want to attempt to fix the broken piece. I don’t think it would be a sealing issue because the hole doesn’t go into the cooling system, and there’s still 2 bolts for that side of...

Yes, the part that looks like patio furniture

    Steering column install...

Mine was like that. The expanded metal portion of the column gets smashed pretty easily and throws it out of alignment. I cut the expanded metal out and replaced with some exhaust tubing of the same size.
