Has anyone had experience with Kumho tires

I just pulled the trigger on Cooper Cobras to replace some 16 year old BFG’s (that turned brown). Super limited selection these days for RWL’s.

Has anyone had experience with Kumho tires

Are you looking for raised white letters? If not, ditch the BFG and Coopers and go with the Kuhmos as they will be cheaper! Remember, your priority is price so don’t expect a world beating tire at that price point especially since it’s an all season tire…. Which means it’s not really good at...

Found my dads original 1971 duster!

Glad to see you got the car back in the family and it’s looking good as it’s brought back to life! From a code of conduct view, there were a couple of questionable items within the story (not done by you but by others)……

340 exhaust heat shield needed for Van's to repop.

If it were that ‘easy’ or ‘simple’ or ‘cheap’ or ‘inexpensive’ to make quality reproduction parts, everybody would be in the parts business. You gotta pay to play.

340 exhaust heat shield needed for Van's to repop.

Maybe I should sell my cars…. That way it will eliminate me being in any accidents/collisions, which in turn would reduce my insurance costs, reduce my fuel bill, reduce wear and tear items and also eliminate me needing to find replacement parts for anything!! Oh and that’s not even factoring...

Did some dipshit park right beside you when you came back out to the car? I stopped by the CT in Squamish the other day and parked at the far end of the lot too. And when I walked back to the car, some dipshit had parked right beside me and wasn’t even straight between his/her lines. I swear...

How to achieve this stance please?

What are the tire sizes on the car now? Correct, super stock leaf springs are not needed for the driving you’ll be doing plus your teeth will probably fall out (even if they are all currently real). Suggest getting XHD spring from ESPO or JRSpring. Shipping from North America will be steep...

    Central Europe Scamp find

looks like a solid purchase! Does it still have the fender tag? Was it built for the export market? Since the speedo is in miles I presume it was a US spec car that was imported later in life to Europe?

My 273 turned out to be a 318...what did I buy?

Welcome and nice starter ride! Did the seller/previous owner have the car a while and make all those modifications? Seems odd that he would indicate the block is a 273 instead of a 318? Maybe the seller bought the car with those modifications already and flipped it?

    Tucking factory 74 bumpers

Looks great! Do you still have your 75 bumper to measure against the 73 bumper? Is the 73 bumper narrower? If not, can you post a pic of the width of the 73 bumper so I can compare it to mine? If there’s no difference in width then I might as well push my 75 bumper in by collapsing the...

    LD4B Intake question

Did you enlarge the ports on the LD4B? Or if ported intake and heads isn’t a concern, no big deal. LD4B’s sell for decent coin these days. Not as much as LD340’s though which would be a match for your 340.

    Tucking factory 74 bumpers

Is the width of a 73 Duster front bumper different (narrower) than the width of a 75 Duster front bumper? I get the sense it is but does anyone have a measurement?

    Plum Crazy or Citron Yella?

You started off with ‘two demons in a junkyard’ which usually means the cars are missing major components. No mention of how long they have been in the junkyard either. Also no mention of if they have drivetrains nor what the drivetrains were/are. We are not fortune tellers so suggesting the...

    Plum Crazy or Citron Yella?

With all the cars that have been sprayed plum crazy over the years I would think it’s one of the more common colours now. Considering it was only offered for two years back in the 70’s there are probably more plum crazy cars rolling around now than ever came out of the factory during those two...
