    Can't say for sure about your block, but it would be highly unusual for anyone to spend the money to put multiple sleeves in a 318 block.

    Thanks guys. I tried moving it earlier today in neutral with my tractor. Didn't want to move. Been sitting for a while so must have a brake not turning loose. Didn't want to push it too hard without making sure that is what was happening.

    Engine Quest Dodge Magnum Heads New Zealand castings.

    They flow about 230cfm at about .500 lift as cast with the 1.92 valve. Several places were getting about 270 cfm with 2.02 valve, good valve job, and minor bowl blend work.

    Magnum heads are a nice upgrade if you happen to have a set or can find some at the pull a part. Yes, most would have an exhaust seat cracked but they will run fine. Not everyone's cup of tea, but if you dont mind finagling the intake bolts they are near perfect for a street able low buck 318.

    There are asymmetrical lobes out there that open the valve quickly but give it a softer ride on the way down. Supposed to help slightly with rpm and power through increased valve train stability.

    I would add new core plugs, timing chain, and head gaskets in addition to cam bearings to any used engine as well.

    No worries. I only know from deep diving into sodium valves for an RV motor build. You are correct that they are premium valves for severe duty. Do you happen to know if the heads have seat inserts?

    No sodium filled exhaust valve stems on any 360s. 413 truck motors and some 6.4 hemi truck engines, and old 50s hemi and 6 cyl truck engines had some.

    No w2's on any production engine. Double roller, chome stem valves, and coolers added on for longevity. Nothing really special about the police pkg or E58 package other than possibly different cams depending on the year. Still low compression smog motors.

    That makes sense. I have mostly used it in hydraulic flat tappet engines that have sat for years and some cases decades.
