    Another NPK question

I believe with the costs of putting on a show of this caliber, prices are reasonable. The cost of the liability insurance alone has to be stupid.

    Another NPK question

Just think of the money those guys have in their cars to run in the 3’s in the 1/8 mile. You don’t see them with major sponsors pasted all over their cars.

    Air cleaner

The only way to know is if you have it flow tested AND measure the pressure drop inside the air cleaner like over the carb/injector and compare it to the pressure drop inside the intake manifold. How deep do you want to dig the hole?

    Air cleaner

Hell no, and it’s a deep subject. It requires deep thought, work and money just like anything worthwhile. Just so you know, that stock air cleaner housing brings stupid high resto/collector money.

    Stock exhaust manifolds vs headers

A little off track, excellent videos. Especially like the Weber carbs with the interchangeable Venturi’s. Back in the day, zenith carburetors were the same, highly tunable. As for your build, those Aussie speed cast headers look like a viable alternative to the stock crack prone, poor flowing...

Starting a TQ rebuild - tips and tricks?

You have to be careful taking it apart that you don’t damage the phenolic resin fuel body. Other than that, make sure the butterfly shafts are not loose. There are bushing kits to repair them if they are loose from wear. Rebuild is fairly simple, its the tuning that is the time consuming part and...

360 sb. 2bbl iron intake or 4bbl iron intake with 4bbl to 2bbl flat plate adapter, which flows the best? thank you for your time. RR

Can you port the intake per rules? That would make a huge difference. Too bad you can’t use a Holley 2 barrel.

360 sb. 2bbl iron intake or 4bbl iron intake with 4bbl to 2bbl flat plate adapter, which flows the best? thank you for your time. RR

If I had a street car with this manifold, I’d figure a way to use the Holley throttle body. It is a really good setup. My 89 D250 was a 4400 lb truck with me in it and it got up and ripped really well. The milage was pretty good also. 17 mpg if I remember correctly.

360 sb. 2bbl iron intake or 4bbl iron intake with 4bbl to 2bbl flat plate adapter, which flows the best? thank you for your time. RR

Best would be an intake manifold off a 2 hole throttle body fuel injection manifold. I had one on my 89 D250 pickup truck with a 360 in it. You will know it when you see it, it has a Holley throttle body on it with holley cast in big letters on it.

You can see its right above the heat riser as it goes into the intake. You may not have enough meat to hold a stud.

    Intake Manifolds

You won’t. Offy’s aren’t as popular as the other 2. If you want a well researched and developed aftermarket intake, get the eddy. It’s not that it couldn’t be better, it can with porting, it’s well thought out design. Like aj said best bang for the buck is increasing cylinder pressure with a...

Need a good honest shop for my Dart

To paint a car is expensive, paint and bodywork supplies are through the roof. All body panels that require body work need to be repainted. They don’t do touch ups anymore cause all automotive paints are water based and original paint is not.

What do you look for in a forklift?

The problem with buying something like that is the condition and your inexperience with owning and maintaining one. Unless you buy from an auction of a going out of business sale, I would spend the coin and buy used one from a dealer and avoid the headaches of unknown repairs.
