Even though I am currently installing a vintage air to a stock magnum I sure do believe there is something nice about having the hvac system stock even if you have to hack the box etc. It's proven to work. I'm just not a good fabricator so I wimped out. But I'm also doing a delete dash so the...
I decided to go with vintage air. Bought the mini hvac unit and installed a generic condenser off ebay that fit my radiator. I liked the idea of the vintage air electronic servo switches so I can mount the controller anywhere. I have not finished the plumbing to the magnum compressor.
I'm a big fan of adding fiber. I poured a 2 car pole barn myself with the help of a teenager and a borrowed bull float. I came across the idea of adding fiber and going without rebar on the interweb and feel that even without rebar the fiber may have helped the reinforcement of areas that I...
I think you are kind of right. Just did our first 1800 mile roadtrip with a electric car. It was pretty fun. We did plan our lunch around charging. Looked for the best place we could eat. Feels like there will be new road side attractions to make driving a electric car even more fun...
I agree, to bring electric cars to the masses you would have to increase the options of charging to battery swaps.
Somebody stopping for lunch?

Sure seems like there's a restriction problem. Do you have enough clearance to put a decent size shorty filter on and bypass the relocation kit, just to see the difference?
What kind of oil filter are you running? Stock? Or remote oil filter? Too small of a shorty filter for clearance can cause this, don't ask me how I know.
Yea, a group of us tested hydrogen fuel cells several years ago. Punctured and introduced a spark. All remote of course, this testing put the brakes on hydrogen in cars. However, Germany has introduced a hydrogen train that is impressive.
Ha funny! That’s a problem with the intellitronix digital gauge. I checked the ground thinking that was the problem, it’s grounded to the dash. Next try is to ground it directly to battery. If that doesn’t work I may have a defective unit.
That's cool, you'll have to let me know which way you go. The help here with a mag swap is awesome. I still have the OBDII port from the donor. With a blue tooth or wifi plug in transmitter along with an app you can receive any info the computer puts out via your phone or tablet. I'll try...
I wasn't paying attention in Geometry, hot teacher, that's another story, so I may just buy a hoist and see what happens, LOL. B
Hey man, I really appreciate it.
Those look great! Yea, I'm going to make a second pair out of wood. I just lucked out and found a set on craigslist as I was planning my lumber purchase. Are you pulling the engine in and out while on those cribs?
I probab
Which part of the head are you bolting into? Are you using
Sorry, what I should have asked is what hoist are you guys using when you've got the car on pretty tall jack stands which would be similar to this crib method.
