Yes, I'm so mad. It was perfect and I'll never replicate the original faded paint.

    [WANTED] 1964-65 Barracuda, Valiant hood

Looking for a nice hood for my 65 barracuda. I just hit a deer and my original paint hood is dented and buckled. I'm so mad I could've ripped it's heart out with my bare hands.

    727 yoke play

The yoke has 1/8 inch of play with the suspension unloaded and hanging.

    727 yoke play

I'm putting a 727 into my brother's dart. I have a driveshaft that, when installed, has 3/8 inch yoke play. Is this enough? I know typically 3/4 to 1 is average. Will the suspension move enough to bottom out the yoke in the trans with only 3/8 movement?

    Flywheel identification

I have this external balance flywheel, but I don't know what it's for. I need one for a 360 la. Anyone know which ones had these four holes drilled in?

    360 and a blower

Had a poly 318 in it. Also covered in rat poo. I put plugs and points in it with a good carb I have. It purred like a kitten after smoking the place out for a while. I couldn't believe how nice it ran actually.

    360 and a blower

This has been the filthiest car I've ever worked on. Gravel roads forever. Grease on the K frame was 1/2 inch thick. Really preserved it though. It's super solid. Just a little crust on the bottom of the gate and the spare tire area. The back glass had been down for probably as long as it was...

    360 and a blower

I also pulled the heater box to clean and put in new seals, heater core. Scrubbed all the floors with purple power and a garden hose. A guy is making me a piece for the rear window crank. Replaced the front bumper with a straight one. Replaced some grille parts, lenses front and rear, a few trim...

    360 and a blower

So I found a candidate for thd 360. I picked up this rust free 66 Coronet wagon last fall. After completely removing the interior to clean out all the rat **** and nests, new carpet and a few parts, it's actually pretty nice inside too. It has 56k miles but was abused and left neglected for...

    Isky 264 Mega in a 400

You could retard it a couple of degrees from the recommended intake centerline. To close the intake a little later.

    360 and a blower

It ran really nice. Very smooth, and didn't require any jetting changes. Just a little timing adjustment. We set lash after a couple pulls and it gained 7hp. They were a couple of thou loose. Which tels me I could've used more duration. But im happy with 510hp and a nice flat torque curve...

    360 and a blower

I had it on the dyno over the summer. 510 hp at 6000rpm, very flat torque curve. Just about 9psi. We cut it off at 6k since the bottom end is basically stock components. I still haven't decided what I'm putting it in. But I do want it running in a car next summer.

Bolt in radiator for 65 Cuda?

Thanks for all the replies. I just bit the bullet and ordered a copper brass reproduction radiator. It was definitely more than 500.00. But my car is nice and hopefully I won't have to worry about the radiator ever again.

Bolt in radiator for 65 Cuda?

I bought an ACC from ebay. It didn't fit. The cap hit the hood. And the right side bracket was 1/2 inch away from the radiator support. I put one of these in my 66 coronet with a 440 and it works great.

Bolt in radiator for 65 Cuda?

Well Mr Ratrod, I hope you're happy. I just spent 736.00 on a radiator. Now go ahead and tell me "I told you so".

Bolt in radiator for 65 Cuda?

I said I don't want to spend 500.00. If I have to I will. I'm not some dumb cheap ***. If you have a part number of a radiator you've used in your early a body that fits I'll gladly look into it. Maybe you have answered it multiple times. But I rarely come on this forum. I'm too busy building...

Bolt in radiator for 65 Cuda?

Thanks smart ***. I didn't say I wanted the cheapest pos radiator, did I? No I asked if anyone used one that fits an early a body V8 car. Which you didn't answer.

Bolt in radiator for 65 Cuda?

Anyone found a decent aluminum radiator that was a bolt in for an early a body V8. I have a 65 barracuda with a 273. I need a radiator that fits, 22 inch. Don't want to spend 500.00.
