I am Central, Daysland to be precise. Sleepy little town but I wake it up once in awhile with my 72 Dart Swinger 340. Been to Mopars at the Mall in Red Deer many times now. Great cars and great people. Don't miss it!

The chrome is faded on my cluster and I would like to see if anyone has a nice clean one for sale. It is for a 1972 Dart Swinger with the 120 mph speedo. I thought about re-doing the chrome trim but what could I use? Most paints are just silver. Any help would be appreciated.

What did they use to get the chrome so nice? Do you still have this piece? PM sent.

Have you tried Stock Interiors? That's where I got my carpet for my 72 Swinger. I have an auto with console and the console carpet kit worked great with a little trimming. The rest of the carpet fit real nice too. Maybe give them a try. StockInteriors.com

The interior dash photos look nice, not too much for exterior photos yet. Engines, 2.0 L, 1.4 Turbo or 2.4 L. R/T edition too!

Have you heard about the new Dart for 2013. Looks like it is going to be a compact car, lets hope they do it justice!!! It is to be revealed in January in Detroit. I wished they would have made it a more muscle oriented mid size. Lets see how this turns out!

Very well put! Go up a few threads and comment on the measurements that were taken during my alignment. It shows the thrust angle and the rear toe. I am curious to read your findings. Now remember, when I tried to adjust the rear toe, it made it worse.Thanks guys.

I got a plumb bob and marked on the floor in different locations, cross checked the measurements and I couldn't find anything that was "glaring" at me. That's cool, I didn't take any offense. I am going to leave it, I have tried adjusting it and it doesn't seem to help. Shimming the passenger side makes it worse and doing the drivers side doesn't make it any better. Looks like it is what it is. Thanks to all of you.

Well, now I am confused! I just found an article on thrust angle and it states that if the thrust angle is positive, the wheels are pointing to the right and to center it, I would have to shim the drivers side back. WTF!

The 75 Valiant seats that I had were covered with red velour fabric and had a different pattern than the 74 Duster vinyl, maybe that's why they didn't fit so well.

I did a similar thing you are asking only I had a set of 75 Valiant seats and put 74 Duster covers on them and they fit O.K. but are not the best. I would say you need to get the right bucket seat foam to fit what you want or you will have to modify them to fit right. It will not be a perfect...
