Since I lost my camshaft, I will be starting from scratch.
Getting a new block prepped with boring and lifter bores bushed.
Bump compression with new pistons.
Purchase a new camshaft.
I'm not at all motivated on this project since it was all new last winter.
410, 4 inch stroke, 6.123 rod length, 13-1 compression, peak torque 4800-5000 range, weight 3250 with me in it, 5600 converter and 1 7/8 headers. solid roller
I am currently starting from scratch. I will be bumping up my compression and would like to get a custom ground cam for my application.
Who would you recommend for designing a cam?
I'm not really sure what happened here. I cut all my oil filters open, and I found bronze the middle of the summer. I pulled the Milodon shaft and gear and it was pretty much chewed up. I replaced the gear with one from Comp. I flushed the system as best as I could.
Well, I guess I will need a new cam and lifters. I pulled the intake off today to mill for more clearance for the valve covers and it appears that I have a bad lobe and another starting to wear. Brand new Comp cam and brand-new Bam bushed lifters.
Thank you for your help. It is much appreciated.
Comp does not specify what it called for, I have it in at 104 currently. I am just trying to get my combination to work optimally with what I currently have.
I will give you what I have from the cam card.

I contacted Rod about a year ago. After 1 phone conversation there would be no way I would not try a set of his heads. Every suggestion Rod made I went with. My car was definitely faster than the previous year with ported Edelbrock heads. I ran 6.97 98mph the previous year and with Rods heads I...
That add is actually misleading. It was Ed Hamburgers Duster but it is not as advertised. The car is now all cut up and has been modified so the picture is misleading. The guy who bought the car in the 70's from Ed is a friend of mine. My car is a different car but from the same group.
The driver was Brian Batchedler and he sold the car to another local guy about 30 years ago. The guy who owned it raced it a few times a year. I've been eyeballing the car for about 15 years and he finally sold it to me.
