That is great MoparFan. Here is something for you to think about. Hedgman headers leaks bad. It will look and sounds great when you first hook them up, but after a day or so of running them, you will begin hearing that leak. If you can wait and save up some money and get something aquivalent...

Here is what's on my 67 cuda.

It's $2.79 a gallon for the cheap stuff here in San Fran. Calif. It cost me over $100.00 a week to drive up here for work. That's only 260 miles one way. Thank God the company paid for the hotel rooms. Larry G

Hope you like exhaust leaks. Hedman, and Hooker are the worst fitting headers out. I don't think there is one out right now that don't leak. Dose anyone out there has one of these headers on there car right now and don't have any leaks? :bom:

TTI's are alot easier if you can get your car 2 feet in the air. Once you get the front in up that high, the header just slide in. :bom: :drunken: Larry G

Betty, the bottom part of the air cleaner is 20" wide, and 21 and 1/4" long. Now the top of the air cleaner is 16 and 1/8" wide, and 20 and 1/4" long. If you can send me your off list e-mail address, I can send you some photo. I'm a mopar nut, not a computer nut. Can't figure out how to post...

Betty, here are the measurement that I took of my air cleaner. Now I took the measurement from the center of the carb mouth or opening. The front is 6" from the center to the front, and 10" from the center to the side. The rear is 5 and 1/2" from center of rear carb to the end, and 9 and 1/2"...

If you sand all the rust spot off, then clean the block with denature alcahol the rust will not come back. If you keep the block bare with out the paint to seal and protect it. Rust will come back.

Painting your engine is easy. If the block is clean and has a factory coat of paint on it already, you don't need to prime. Just make sure it clean and oil free. If you have a bare block, I would prime it. As for the paint itself, that is up to you. If you dont want to spend too much money...
