I would probably say a full rail is needed. Look up on the top of the rail between the upper A arm mounts and it probably is rusted through there also.
I had seen somewhere on here that someone used a tool similar to a hole saw to cut that before removing. I am not sure if it was a regular hole saw or just for cutting the swedge, @RustyRatRod may know more.
I have rebuilt several of these. The guy I get the pin for charges me 25 bucks a pin. The pin is a touch larger than stock and I have done a few sets for others here in the past. I was getting 70 dollars and they paid shipping both ways.
I think other years and models may work like the Chrysler also. I think it is the same for Business coupe, Club coupe and sedan. It is a curved glass and my fit up to 1948 cars.
