Here are some flow numbers for BB Chrysler heads. Early heads pre 66 are not even listed except for Max Wedge heads. Numbers speak for themselves. Stan Weiss' - Cylinder Head Flow Data at 28 Inches of Water -- DFW / FLW Flow Files for use with Engine Simulation Software

The early BB heads had small valves 1.94 and 1.60 with low flow numbers. 67 and up heads flowed 20-30 cfm better stock

How to install a dipstick tube without ruining it in a 440

I usually put a thin slit in the bottom, which causes the diameter to squeeze a little smaller. Then tap it in with an open end and a hammer. I do use sealant on the end.

383 into 73 Dart Sport using exhaust manifolds

You can put the column in first, just trim the outer sleeve back. Install the manifolds and it will drop right in. An access hole for #6 plug will help. Take a look!

    Golf fans ?

Technology ruined golf! 400 yard drives and every hole is driver wedge. They need to limit golf ball distance or club size. Watch the old golf films between Palmer, Nicklaus, Miller and Player. Try hitting a 1 iron into a green!

    Duel is on METV tonight

A 318 will do well over 100mph in a Valiant. I had my dads Fury to 112 with a 318.

B-Body HP manifold on 440 Dart?

You can build a nice 440 for half the cost of a small block stroker. Yes the manifolds fit fine.

    Exhaust manifolds

You shouldn't hit the fire wall on the drivers side. What motor mounts are you using? I used the Schumacher mounts and you could turn them 90 or 180 degrees.

    Exhaust manifolds

From what I recall a C Body drivers side will cost you at least 5-7 HP. An original A body BB Drivers side will cost you about 12HP. There was an aftermarket drivers manifold that looked like an original A body without the restriction. Made by Accurate.

    906 or 915 ?

I guess I shouldn't have said mild, but to me they aren't all out. When I find the pictures or flow sheets you will understand why they flow 270. It was a lot more than a bowl blend. Short turn pushed back, valve guide shaped, chamber unshrouded etc.

    906 or 915 ?

I would consider the 915s that Dulcich did were heavily ported. I bet those heads flowed well over 300 cfm 440 Head Buildup Dyno Test - Mopar Muscle Magazine

    906 or 915 ?

450 HP is easy, build a quench motor. Runs on pump premium. My build: 915 heads mild port & polish flowing 270cfm, SRP pistons, total quench .040. Mopar .528-284 mechanical cam. 522HP with headers. Im guessing about 485 the way it sits.
