Where are you getting that r1234yf (idk where you're getting the c from ether) operates at a "much higher pressure"? It is true that r1234yf is more flammable than r134a.

Have you ever heard of google? Prob 100+ threads on this subject on this site alone. Loads doing it, you will have to move your spring perches inboard as well so that mean welding. Not an issue for most but is for others.

Yeah 134A hasnt been outlawed to purchase but I think they passed a law where new cars have to use the 1234y stuff moving forward. Ether way time to stock up on 134 stuff if you havent done so...

Which is why if your system happens to get a leak you just convert it to 134A and call it a day.

How they are mounted now i’d think they are only able to pull air from where they are mounted on the rad vs if they were mounted on the shroud they can pull from that whole air volume. Never been a mod myself (not a fan of donating time to something that is a for profit). But I would think your role is to just enforce the rules set by the owner(s) of the forum.

I put nut certs in for the top bolts and use magnets for the bottom. Had to print in two pieces and used Acetone to fuse it all together (printed it in ASA). Ended up taking 50 iterations to get things to form around the headlight and wiper switches.
