And here are pictures of it now. 255/60R15 & 225/60R15 The 225’s fit but are tight, as you guys said they’re close when being turned but not hitting. It may be an alignment issue, I’ll have more answers soon. But they do clear. Images attached.

Isn’t this tire taller than the 235/60R15? Did you have to roll or cut the inside lip of the wheel fender?

Would customizing the backspacing on the front tires make any difference? There’s a local guy here in socal that will get the most out of backspacing by modifying the wheels. So I’m hoping that’ll help.

I really hope that’s not the case. It was rebuilt a year ago and has been sitting out of the car unused until this year. I never thought about putting LED’s in while it was still out because honestly I thought the brand new bulbs put in during restoration were going to be more than good enough...

Redline GaugeWorks in Santa Clarita did a full restoration on my gauges and these are the bulbs he agreed would be just fine.

Off the subject but both of you Rusty and Steve have helped me since I started this build so here are a few pictures of my car now.

I won’t be driving much at night but the few times I have it really bugged me that I had spent so much to make it look nice and original, but couldn’t see the numbers at night. Is that a common thing that happens to the lenses with LED’s? I’ve never heard of that, and a lot of guys are putting LED’s
