I remember running my 86 GSXR1100 there in that timeframe when I was stationed at Kunia under the pineapple field. Those Hawaiians would race anything, tow trucks to YSR 50’s!

Make sure the torque converter doesn’t bottom out in the crank before you install it. By making sure I mean mount the flex plate, attach the converter and check the measurement, don’t just measure the depth of the pilot hole.

I like the handle on this one. I have the one I linked, can be a bit of a pain to hold on to depending where you’re working with it.

I have the “almost 90*” aluminum one on my 70 Dart with 5303 (1 7/8) headers and run a K/N Ps-2004 filter. The true 90* would give you a little more room, but you should be good unless you use a filter off a Cummins.

Sure thing! Just for data acquisition, I record it, RPM and O2 for tuning the carb.

I’m using a Quickfuel HR850 with the no choke body, but will work with either.

I use the AccuLink kit with my Innovate SSI-4, has worked fine for years and calibrates easy.

Think I would prefer to go this route vice leading the joint like the factory did. As long as it stays put I would be good with it.
