    The song "Enter Sandman"

Damn...30 years!? Crazy! Though I really feel old when I looked up this one from 1971 that got me hooked on rock and metal as a budding guitar player in 1976. Time sure does fly.

    Are Hughes Converters any good?

I'm running a 3500 stall Hughes in my Duster for a few years now. 340, 727 RMVB, 4.30s out back. Real happy with it.

    Duster suspension set up questions

Cool build OP. Welded in Subframe connectors may be a good addition with the kind of power you're making. Be well

Toughing it out in my perch in Wisconsin.....not quite as cozy as the OP's, but relaxing none the less.

    News & Politics

Hard to believe anyone would actively want to get into politics on a car forum these days. Seems there's enough of that us and them BS everywhere else on social media. I'll just continue to focus on car related posted.

    Quick Jack Lift

I've dropped and installed my 727 3 times. Was easy peazy. Was good option given the steel beam running the width of my garage, making full lift a no-go. Was a great compromise in my case.

    Headers vs 340 manifolds

I can't seem to keep my foot off the loud pedal long enough to get good mileage. Love the sound of headers!

    Rearend noise

Pretty normal during break in. Mine was noisy as heck on 1st test drive after swapping in the 4.30s. I added a 2nd bottle of modifier and drove around, lots of turning etc and it quieted right down.

    Traction Issue

Yeah, the improvement was/is very noticeable. Squats and goes straight when hammering it now. I used thick walled 1.5x3" rectangular tubing. Was like $36 and a Saturday to fab and welding them in. (I'm not great at welding so others can probably do it even quicker)

    Traction Issue

Do you have subframe connectors? My Duster behaved similar before welding a set. Just a thought.

    1972 Front Disc Brake Conversion

I opted fo the often maligned Wildwood kit that retains the stock spindles etc. Stupid easy installation, stops great and I couldn't be happier.

Looking for info on 340 Torker performance mods

I just did some gasket matching on mine when I picked up the Eddy heads. No idea if it will make any noticeable change. I just like to do it . We'll see when it's all back together.

    HUMMING NOISE

Chased something similar for months. Turned out to be a burnt rear axle bearing. I'd have sworn is was my tranny or diff... I'll log for a sounds byte I made to see if it may be similar to your situation.
