Thank you. I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I love the floor mats too. $80 shipped for those, they were a great deal and perfect for the car!

Just got my seats back for my Demon project

Just one, and a pic of the new floor mats I got from an FBBO member. The stitching even matches the silver accents. I’m good to go now!

Just got my seats back for my Demon project

I would be putting those in right away to get the full effect. They’re beautifully done, and I would be very anxious to get them in. When I got my front seat back, I put it in and drove the car back to the upholstery shop so they could see it too, he was astonished that I came back so quick...

    Looking for a Machine Shop

Everybody in my area uses Auto Parts Machine Shop in Ann Arbor, Mi. Darryl knows Mopar engines through and through, and has done many engines for me over the years. He’s busy, so I would call if you’re making a trip there.

resurface rotors, absolutely needed or not?

On newer vehicles I just swap em out with new ones. On our older vehicles, I have my buddy turn them for me, because no auto parts stores do it anymore, and they wouldn’t do the early stuff anyway. The only time I scuff them up by hand is on my plow truck, it never gets driven over 35mph, and...

1968 Barracuda Trunk Trim Restored by PartsMonsta

How can a guy that does such nice, meticulous work on the trim be so completely incompetent when it comes to packing it back up and shipping it. I learned long ago to make my shipments bomb proof, I mean, you’ve seen this horror story play out hundreds of times, shippers are assholes, they try...

A Scamp ripped the Dragon a new one!

I do the charity ride every year at the Blackberry Smoke at The Shed shows on my Harley. One year all the girls wanted to go too, so the bride loaded all of them up in Nellas 1 ton Ford e350 van and the bride did the Dragon driving that. She won’t ride with me, but she’ll take the van? She’s...

    End of an era!

His business is well off the beaten path, down a dirt road. And he’s been old school for decades. But he does sell a lot of parts and cars, and bought out a couple big yards that closed down around him. Not sure how his prices are, but I’ve bought a lot of stuff there at reasonable prices.

Another "What is it / What's it Worth" post

#1 is 1964 Barracuda dash trim for heater controls. 13”!wiper arms are early A, 15” are 67 and later A body, the glovebox handle you got, all 64-65 ashtrays are the same, not exactly sure if 66 is as well.

    Inline Tube experience

The mismatch of parts is not really on you, especially if you got all the parts from them that go together to make the assembly complete. It would be a small oversight in your part even if you did check every part, if only because you were not ready for assembly yet and we’re not actually...

Gotcha, I see what’s going on there. If I had any other 7/16” threaded long nuts, I would consider using them for now. I found a whole nuther bag of the same nuts I have, I was stoked, until I saw it….the dreaded L stamp on them. Now I have 20 LH nuts! Yay me….or not! Thanks for the picture, I...

    8 3/4 large bolt pattern?????

So much for his “expert” opinion. I’ve argued with a few people who swear that they had large bolt on their 72 Dusters that they bought brand new. 50 years ago, the car is long gone, but they’re sure they remember that specifically. Oy!

    66 vs 67 K-Member

The 67 idler arm is a one year only part. And as you will find out, it is very expensive when compared to the 68-69 unit. A 66 K frame and it’s components are completely different from the 67 and later units.

    WHICH LEAF SPRINGS? 68 Barracuda

I had a pair of SS springs that I got in a deal, put em on the 67 Barracuda. I think the stance is too high. I would like to change to the XHD springs, which I put on my buddies 66 Valiant, I think they are about perfect. Slightly higher in the rear than stock springs, and a level stance. My...
