Rhythmic Clicking sound from behind Dash on 1973 Dodge dart

Actually, the blue one might be snapped in place on the side of the ash tray and the silver one is the culprit....

Rhythmic Clicking sound from behind Dash on 1973 Dodge dart

I, too, spy an extra flasher module laying in there. The blue one. It is rolling and bouncing against the plugged in Silver one and bottom of the radio cage. If the radio cage is not anchored, it could be your noise.

Rhythmic Clicking sound from behind Dash on 1973 Dodge dart

Does it happen sitting still in gear, before moving? What about sitting in park? Jack the rear wheels off the ground and put it in gear, letting the wheels spin and see if it happens. If so, I'd bet either the speedo cable or speedo head itself.

    Josh's 73 Dart Sport - "Fred"

Well, the weather kept us from getting the door stripped and prepped. Maybe next week.... In other news, the machine shop called. She's gonna be too loose if we try and reuse the original pistons. So we are going 30 over, by choice, even tho he said 20 over would be enough. Said there is...

Finally getting around to it - 12 years later....

So when Jacob and I built his high school ride and fabbed up an all steel hood for his 65, we talked about doing it. Now that he has the 408 out for a bearing issue, I decided to surprise him. Since the original build, I came across another pair of bezels that were already cut out. So...

Make sure you didn't pinch the condenser or points wire in the distributor. Buddy of mine did that on his 52 MG-TD.

I Am Thinking It Might Be About Time To Start Downsizing My Possessions

I started filtering out stuff a few years ago, even tho I'm only 58. I began by no longer feeling the need to have 3 to 5 spares of the same part. Just 2 should suffice. Some of the excess I've dumped in my oldest son's shed, some I've given away or sold. Why the oldest son's shed? Cuz he's...

    Need help ?

I'm kinda with the folks who suggest the timing chain has jumped a tooth or 2. Or your points/condenser are messed up. Odd thought here that I seem to remember having an issue with about 30 years ago..... One of my mopars back then had that condenser looking thing at the distributor that was...

Good day with both boys in the garage yesterday

So Jake came over again on Saturday. We finished tearing his 408 down. I Dropped his crank off at the shop for a turn and polish when Josh and I dropped the 360 block off. Was another good day.

    Josh's 73 Dart Sport - "Fred"

Brakes are 100% functional. Started on the final bodywork and decided the right side door that came with the new door glass is better than the door that we already prepped. So the new door will be stripped and ready for epoxy by Saturday. Josh also got the 360 completely torn down and we...

[FOR SALE] Mopar 4bbl dule Snorkel air cleaner

If you zoom in on the lid, you can see the 440 decal. Would that have a deeper drop to the bottom. Kinda like the 383 vs 440 air grabber bases are different?

[SOLD] 360 LA oil pan and pickup tube/sump from a 1974 D series truck

Fresh off a 125k mile 360. Drain plug is not stripped or cross threaded, no cracks or leaks, slight dent in the bottom. The grime comes with it, as does the used oil pump unless you want me to trash the pump for you. I imagine it is pretty common, so let's go cheap at $20 plus shipping...
