I think RRR is right. I have a vice that does the same thing. I just tap it with a hammer and it slides apart easily. I think my C clip is missing also. Lol

I put a "cage" on my steering coupler and it would bump the header at certain times causing what seemed like it was "catching". I put a quarter inch shim under the driver's side motor mount and that took care of it. The cage isn't on the coupler in this picture but you can see how close it is...

Thanks, I have this app on my phone that can do toe and camber. I tried it for camber and it works really well. Just need a straight edge of some sort on the wheel edge and put your phone against it and gives out great digital readings. Just got to figure out a way to keep it all in place...

We spend a couple of months in Destin every year during snowbird season, January 1st to mid March and it's hard to go home! But from what I hear first hand is the heat and humidity are pretty bad half the year and traffic is horrendous three quarters of the year. Lol

There is a lot of movement possible when all the bolts are loose. Forward, backward, right and left. I wonder if those headers were actually made for power steering? Regardless, it looks like you're really close now. I think you can do it. Good luck. An extra helping hand might help also.

You guys did a really nice job. I'm sure that must be a clear coat on there. That really brings out that color. Again, I'm assuming here, that's a factory color and if so it never looked that good from the factory.
