Finally buttoned up the convertor change. No leaks, topped off the fluid, cruised it around. Initial cruise the car feels better, convertor doesn’t feel near as loose as the old one. Have to really work the brakes now to try and load the motor up. Rolled into it in 2nd, destroyed the radials...

Promod series 10” deal. I’m skeptical of the flash speed on it but I know plenty of people that are happy with Dice convertors. “Should flash 4800-5k”

I got it from motion race works. It’s a two piece deal with a simple rocker switch in it. It’s nice but was a PITA to make the signals work on a 3 prong switch.

The last photo is my car. Love the column, only issue I have being it sits slightly lower than the factory column did. Other than that it’s great and you can see there’s a nice looking turn signal switch that fits them.

Yeah, my brother and a couple buddies were there so I dropped in for the whole last 30 minutes of it.

Caught the tail end of a gathering at a bbq spot in town last night (good excuse to drive the car and eat good food) car felt pretty strong in the cool air. Just enjoying throwing some miles on it while I wait for the convertor.

If they’re not broken, don’t fix them. But you know, there’s options that are light years better than these. No word yet on the convertor arrival. Hope the motor will stay together long enough for it to show

So far the passenger side is retorqued. 6 of the 17 weren’t where they should be. Onto the drivers side. Also, the high dollar valve train on this hotrod so everyone can see the space age parts.

Drove the car to hang out with @TT5.9mag yesterday and watch him work on his dart. Cars been munching on a little oil when it’s cold, turning the coolant dark and smelling like exhaust but overall still pulling strong for the stock junk it is. I’m going the lazy route and will retorque the heads...

I feel like any trim level 69 dart with a 273 isn’t super common. I’ve had so many people tell me mine isn’t an original 273 car.

Didn’t find much I was looking for but definitely didn’t have an issue spending @TT5.9mag money for him. Got a pretty mint 70/1 duster grill for free for some reason also so I’ll call it a good show.

Pulled the shroud off the car and put the fans directly on the radiator. Been sick but took the car to breakfast and to see a couple buddies. Cooler day but the car ran 180-185 the whole time while doing some pulls, definitely a step in the correct direction.
