Gen 3 Hemi list input needed

TTI needs some competition! I don't understand why Holley discontinued their headers for the G3, but yet they still sell LS headers.

Gen 3 Hemi list input needed

IMO, if the wiring scares you, I'd recommend you use the factory harness and ECU. Sublime Technologies can make a factory harness plug and play. I've read too many stories of people blaming Holley only to later find out the source of their problems was their poor wiring. Not to mention, its...

Hotchkis or Hellwig Front Sway Bar?

I'm willing to bet Peter @BergmanAutoCraft can get you setup with anything you need. Great products backed by a great guy.

Hotchkis or Hellwig Front Sway Bar?

I used to run the Hotchkis bar (HDK suspension now). It is a very nice part and the brackets are heavy duty. As others have pointed out, it is big! It sounds like you have a relatively stock suspension, so why not just get a stock bar? The wheel/tire combo you have certainly isn't lending itself...

    7875 + 5.9 + E85 + Megasquirt

You used an AJE K-member, correct? Any photos of it installed? I’ve only seen their photos of the components. Just curious to see it on a car.

QA1 Tubular K Member - Who runs one on a street car? Reviews?

I don't have any specific comments on this K besides it is looks nice...lol. I purchased one and never installed since I ended up switching to an HDK coil over K setup. I don't see any real performance gains besides extra space to work on the engine and it may be marginally lighter. I think it...

Tell me you Eagle with a carb (or Sniper) setup... (Also a 6.1 intake question)

Microsquirt should be capable of just running the coils. Albeit, will have to run wasted spark, not sequential.

QA1 Tubular K Member - Who runs one on a street car? Reviews?

You need to be more specific. QA1 makes a tubular K that retains the torsion bars, and they have one that is a coil over/rack and pinion conversion.

If you are looking to get the car low, you will be happy with them. I didn't run their rear sway bar initially, but once I became a good enough driver to necessitate it, it made a huge difference.

    17" versus 14" tires

You need to be honest with yourself with the intended usage of the car. After that, look at tire size and type in both (or all) sizes you are considering. Lastly, choose the wheel. Also remember that "great handling" is subjective. Sure a 15" wheel with some 1.03" bars and decent shocks will...

Is this enough space on my rear wheels? 18” wheels

May I just say those wheels are going to look killer on that car! Great color combo.

I can’t share pics on messages since I’m not a gold member. Are you on Instagram? I’m @1205_garage on there. Lots of pics of my car on there. If I remember correctly, the rear wheel opening is around 25” from the ground. I do have spring sliders on it now that drop it another 3-8-1/2” from just...

New to the forum and to A-bodies - advice on a build direction

Thanks for inviting me to the party @DionR ! I'm obviously a fan of the pro touring style build because, you know, go fast and turn... I'm also a fan of understated, tasteful modifications. I do think some builds people call pro touring are over the top and look like hot wheel car builds. Those...

    67 twin turbo dart

You need to figure out what analog input the fuel psi is connected to. Use the data log tab at the top. Make sure you are recording that analog input in the Data log Profile editor. After you collect the data, you can open the file with mega log viewer and check out everything that was recorded.

    67 twin turbo dart

Sounds like you found the problem. I bet the flow curve on those injectors isn't linear when below the specified psi. I would continue to monitor psi, and duty cycle just in case. Good luck!

    67 twin turbo dart

Here's my opinion, which isn't worth $hit since I have zero experience tuning a turbo combination. Isn't a 210lb injector good for 1200-1500HP? I don't know how much HP your motor makes NA, but let's assume you need to put about 20psi boost in that thing to get anywhere close to that power...

What is your current autocross/road course tire/wheel setup?

18" as indicated by the tires size I mentioned. Going with 16" limits both wheel and tire options since it isn't a very common size in today's market.

    67 twin turbo dart

I may be wrong but 32PSI is really low. I’m not boosted and use a corvette regulator/filter and it runs around 58psi. I’ve heard of some efi running 46-48, never 32. Curious why you’re running that.

Just add like 10-15% above 4500 and see what it does. Is fuel psi stable above 4500?

A/C Compressor Mounting with Car Engine

The setup @JBrian is perfect. After I purchased the TTi mounts and held the compressor up next to it, I had a huge WTF moment. This doesn't account for the huge interference on the K-Member. I think @HemiDenny makes an AC bracket to? Maybe? What ya got Denny? Did I dream that?

    12:05 Garage- ’70 Duster build

This G3 has been staring at me for months and I've just neglected it. I guess its time to give it some love. My 5.7 came with the engine harness when I bought it and a while back I separated the harness to get rid of the wires I wouldn't be using on a stand alone controller. The harness was long...

I have decent seats and they are very comfortable. They are the TMI low backs and they have some bolstering. I think I need something that is more “racecar” since it would just be a race day deal, I would want it comfortable enough for the hour drive to the track.

    12:05 Garage- ’70 Duster build

100% it would look badass with a 275 on it! I’ll likely get these wheels widened. I’ll just have to deal with the car being down for however long that takes. I casually looked at seats and also looked on marketplAce for something used. Ultimately, if I decide to do it, it would be a race day...

    12:05 Garage- ’70 Duster build

Got coil springs changed out Friday and took it for a cruise to the store. Not sure if they really made a difference in normal ride quality, but it feels like it did. I had the normal 50 mile drive to the track to autocross. I used my first 3 runs to mess with shock settings, which proved to be...

Thanks for the comparison. I had 1.08 sway away bars. Double adjustable shocks are the $hit! Besides being able to tune it on the track, I love that I can tame it down for normal street driving. I will get some for the back in the future.

I got impatient and went out and took some measurements this morning and used the ride tech calculator. Note: I estimated corner weight based on a total car weight of 3500lbs with me in it. I haven't weighed it with the HDK setup (scales at Moparty were backed up). It was previously 3535 with...
