Where can I find one of these?

Yeah I have been looking at that option, I think a 70s, 80s era suspended setup works. Problem these days is I think those cars have been mostly crushed, lol! Classic has options but I think I will stay as close to stock as I can with this car.

Where can I find one of these?

Pedals look the same from the front the b body and some a body pedals used a roller, the Barracuda 4bbl used the style on the right.

Where can I find one of these?

As far as I know no the b body one don’t fit, actually this setup is exclusive to AV 2 cars. In 1965 my manual shows at least 4 different linkage setups were used.

Where can I find one of these?

Kinda strange, mine was split right in half on one side and it’s pretty thin metal. No worries though it won’t be bad to make something up, I’ve been looking all over for one so I thought I would ask. They make the pedals but not that mounting bracket, I was really surprised that cardboard...

Where can I find one of these?

Mine was rated so bad I would rather build something new, buying one used it’s still a 60 year old part and wouldn’t be long until it failed as well. Actually I am surprised this is not a item you can easily find because it’s prone to failure…

Where can I find one of these?

I have been thinking I am going to have to build one myself because I can’t find one anywhere… that sleeve that goes around the pin is a rocket tube/ fireworks style and made of cardboard or whatever. My thought was to use pvc tube this time.

    Accelerator pad install problem?

Does anyone know who would sell these proper brackets? Kinda stuck here, should I just install the other style pedal? Thx!

    Accelerator pad install problem?

Hello I purchased a new pedal for my 65 barracuda, the old one is different and the holes were vertical with a bracket that was rusted out and split. I am just wondering if anyone has drilled a couple holes horizontal and installed the different pedal? I can’t seem to find a new bracket but I...

    1965 Barracuda carpet installation

What I meant to say, is there is 6 holes in the floor pan but the front seats only have 4 bolts. I was just kinda curios as to why because there was some patchwork done on my floor pan, so I thought it was kinda odd but seeing yours it’s the same.

    1965 Barracuda carpet installation

This might be a silly question but I noticed you also have another set of holes beside where the seat is installed? Been kinda trying to figure out why they are there? Mine is the same and I apologize but I never pulled the seats until I had it home, carpet was pulled out by previous owner. Thx!

Also does anyone know the proper routing for the tail light harness? They had it going from left rear panel and through the quarter panel and it just doesn’t seem right…

    1965 Barracuda carpet installation

Hello I am about to install the carpet on my 1965 Barracuda, any tips on installing? I have a nice carpet kit for the whole car, and though most of it seems pretty straightforward the back part under the window looks like it might be a bit challenging… What is the best glue to use in this area...

Yeah for sure, they are different in Canada. I found this on a old post the other day. It’s a little hard to read but most can be made out.

    Fender tag decode (new member)

This is what I come up with on the first 5 digits on the vin, the rest don’t matter… V- Valiant 9- premium 8 B 2dr hardtop 5- 1965 9- Canada The second digit 9 seems to tell me it’s a 273 commando engine it would seem.

    Fender tag decode (new member)

Thank you! I am kinda wondering what the body number 1864 means? Judging by the numbers of 273 4 barrel auto’s produced, I am kinda thinking there may not have been a lot of the Canadian made gold Valiant Barracudas produced. I know my b body’s fairly well but I am learning more about this car...

    Fender tag decode (new member)

Thanks, the car has been repainted but there is a spot under the hood as well as the interior that is original and definitely gold. The interior is different being that it has the dart dash, the seats are vinyl with cloth, they are in decent shape but the foam is breaking up on the drivers side...
