    Brake booster brace

If the booster is 11.5 and MC is 5.5 that is 17 lbs of torque o the top bolts . Minus the support from the lower bolts. When you hit a bump that is multiplied. And the fluid weighs a lb or more. I would use them .

1971 Duster 340 10" front drum brakes - what other Mopar brake drum hubs will fit?

Are you wanting to stay with the 4.5x5 bolt pattern ? What is your driving like ? Mild , spirited or maniacal ? I have 4 wheel discs on my 68 Barracuda and manual drums on my 69 340 Swinger . I realized I don’t drive like an idiot and the drums work fine . But I used a smaller bore master...

Have them turned before installing . I just had a new drum lock up because it was so far out of true. I assumed it would wear the high spot down in short order but it didn’t.

First time having manual brakes, are mine bad?

Bigger bore diameter makes the pedal effort harder . Smaller 15/16 decreases the effort but the pedal travels further which I like . Smaller bore creates more PSI . Bigger bore on the wheel cilynder makes more power

First time having manual brakes, are mine bad?

Entirely possible the the MC has been replaced with the wrong one over the years. I have manual drums on my 69 Swinger but I changed up the MC and wheel cylinders for more stopping power ( easier pedal) and it works great!

I converted to 4 wheel discs on my Barracuda only to realize I dont drive fast enough or should I say wreckless enough to need them . I stayed with drums on my 69 Swinger 4sp even with a 500hp 408. What I did do though was enhance the master and drum cylinder sizes to increase leverage . It...
