I just installed shim between the lower ball joint arm and the spindle. Drove it today and wow what a difference it made ! Much tighter on the road … no wander. I also have offset Moogs on upper control arm I installed years ago but the car was still floaty .

Curious..have you considered a late 89-91 360 magnum block with oiling holes ? I read differing opinions as the whether they are better castings. I had an early 71 360 block stashed away at a friends place but he let another buddy use it .

Looks like a header bolt. Try finding an allen cap screw with those dimensions ?

There is no drain plug on the factory pan . I installed one on both of mine where I wanted them . I think my exhaust would hit before my pan . Not sure about material differences.
