    Take it for a drive then let it idle for 5 minutes. Driving will bring it up to temp faster . And it will be fun !

    What he said …. Probably factory timing and vacuum advance hooked up to ported instead of manifold. Try hooking the VA to manifold vacuum first . If you increase the base timing and use ported vacuum then you will have too much total mechanical and will have to recurve the distributor.

    Next time it gets hot pull over and pull a plug . White ? Might be running lean at cruise ? Ditch the electric fans and get a 7 blade with clutch … I run them in both my cars at 105degrees with no issues . 1 is a 408 with solid roller. Apologies if this has been mentioned

    Might want to consider an oil cooler as well if you dont already have one .

    Tiny intake coolant leak, advice needed

    The leak is not in the threads so permatex wont help . Its the mating surface between the intake and head that is leaking . Do as TT5.9mag suggested and get engine hot and retorque all the intake bolts . Dont over tighten or you could strip the threads in the head . They only require 35 ft-lbs .

    I installed this tonight on my tunnel ram and you are correct . There is no barb for the hose . I will use some gasket adhesive when I install the hose .

    I just bought a few of these to use with my alloy intakes. They are Cheap and will not interact like those chromw steel POSs. Use adhesive like Indian Head on both sides of gasket . Dont overtighten .
