Bought another Hemi 4 speed listed as a 833

That’s cool ! Did you buy that new ? Lived in Pocetello ? One of my best friends family owned hill brothers Motors in Pocatello at that time. He told me they once took a GSX off the delivery truck and took it to the drag strip, then took it back to the lot.

    RPM drop and electric fans!

Did you install electric fans because stock clutch fan / shroud would not cool it ? I ran a similar cam in my 73 340 Dart Sport and had no cooling issues using stock clutch 7 blade fan/ shroud . Even in 100* + weather. And both my current cars use factory setups with aluminum 2 core 1”...

The Proper Way To Winterize Your Mopar, According To Me!

The Proper Way To Winterize Your Mopar, According To Me!

Yep … my 70 Charger SE sat in the garage all winter. I had a 73 Dart Sport sunroof car as my winter beater . I would let my girlfriends drive that in the summer. Sunroofs were quite a novelty back then !

Super Cool Slot Car Set At Hobby Lobby

I plan on setting up a track this winter for the neighborhood kids to play with . Grass , buildings , lighting etc . I had track setup like that when I was akid ( same stuff) with intersections , single lane frontage roads and an HO gauge railroad with crossings . It was pretty cool !

David Vizard / Uncle Tony...Small block Infos ?

Actually I have to amend my post . I do watch repair videos on cars I am unfamiliar with. I watched several on replacing the water pump on my daughters Range Rover this morning. Thank god it didn’t have timing belt issues ! 16 hour job for the Rover techs ! Urghhh. My old brain would have...

David Vizard / Uncle Tony...Small block Infos ?

I’m tired of watching car repair shows . I still watch Rocket Restoration, Rare Classic cars and history and Steve Dulcich but most of the others are SO slow ( Nicks Garage ) or they purposely do things half *** ( Frieberger) just to appeal to back yard monkeys. Sometimes to the point where it...

Got a new truck! 81 RAM Step Side 4x4

The pan should work . I don’t believe they changed the engine cradle or suspension on trucks up until 92 and 91s had magnums . But maybe they changed it for Magnums when the new body came along. I have a 91 Magnum engine and the pan looks the same as earlier LA pans. Cross your fingers…

Let's hear your "black widow" part story.

Saw an ad on CL for an 8 3/4 . Watched it for a few months then thought I might be able to pick it up cheap. Drove to the small Idaho town in the mountains only to find out it was still attached to a car buried in snow…. Urgh… didn’t want to hassle with it in 3’ of snow ! Looked at the VIN and...
