    [WANTED] Duster firewall patch panels

I have a 75 Duster with the floor pan out currently. Firewall is rusted out in both lower corners. Thought it might save some time over fabricating patch pieces, is anyone willing to cut some patch panels from a Duster firewall for both lower corners? Looking for a foot or so of the bottom...

[SOLD] Green Bench Seat - 75 Duster

Free bench seat from a 75 Duster. This was recovered by an interior shop around 20 years ago. Some sun fading, but overall in decent shape. The impression on the drivers side is just from where it's been laying the garage before I took the picture. No rips/tears in the fabric as this car has...

    Dodge Ram Radiator

I need a replacement radiator for an 01 5.9 Ram. Those plastic end caps are the worst idea ever. Anyone have suggestions where to get a good price on one?

    4.7 V8 swap?

I found out they can't be bored out the hard way. Snapped a rod in an 01 grand cherokee with 150K off-roading. Had to replace the motor.

    New Demon owner from Oklahoma

Welcome to FABO! I'm originally from Bartlesville, but I've lived in Norman for the last five years. The doors will interchange with a duster, I happen to have a drivers side door if you need one.

    would it look good?

I generally think cowl induction hoods only look good on cars that have a hood that butts up against the windshield. I think they look kind of odd on a bodies because there's such a large gap between the hood and windshield. My .02.

    The $5,800.00 mistake

So I'm really really confused. Why would you re-clear and cut/buff the entire car to fix the door? That doesn't make sense at all. Why can't you just cut and buff the door by itself? You are getting taken. If I were the insurance company no way I'd pay it.

    Bumper Delete?

I think the rear would look pretty good if you made a roll pan for it and smoothed it out.

    Fiberglass chroming

Heres a link to the place in owasso http://www.snschrome.com/photo.html. I didn't think you could chrome anything other than metal...I think the only option is a chrome like paint.

Well driveshaft length would be the only major issue. The 7 1/4 driveshaft is too long.

    360 build

Probably a pretty decent deal, but how much is it going to cost you to ship this thing? Once you pay for the shipping it may not be as good of a deal. If you are planning on making 350hp you probably want something more than a stock cam which is what they're putting in it. Other question...

dakota 5 speed in an A body

If fabrication is something you're OK with. You might look into an 5-speed R154 out of a 87-92 turbo supra. Its got better gear ratios and stronger than the dakota transmission, but will bolt to a dakota bellhousing. There are a couple of threads posted on hear and a couple of the other...

need some front end rebuild tips

After beating on the lca bushings for about half an hour, I got my sawzall out and cut them out in about five minutes. Another good way to get the bushing in and out is by using a socket with the same diameter as the outside of the bushing, clamp the arm down and just pound it out.

    Battery does not stay charged!!!

Excessive corrosion or a loose battery cable will keep your car from starting. If that doesn't fix your problem, don't be too sure that it isn't a bad battery. Did this problem exist before you had this battery? If it did then it probably isn't the battery. I had this same problem a few...

    Windage Tray

A windage tray is to keep oil from splashing back onto the crankshaft. It has slits in it that allow oil to go through into the pan, but not back up the other way. They are not mandatory, but are good for a few extra horses because there is not excess oil to slow the crank down.

    Sticky Tires?

Krabysniper you are right that more weight will equal more traction, but its more weight thats important not pounds per square inch. I definetly agree with you that wider tires will not improve cornering grip more, but they certainly won't hurt it. N in the equation F=uN is not equal to pounds...
