    Yep, I race only. Idle circuit and tune to wide open throttle. Known as manual fuel injection. All the short track modified’s ran them in the burg I grew up in. Really cool piece. If you had a high end, max effort engine, thats what you used. Really well suited for alcohol fuel.

    I would make sure I knew what I was getting, what year, forged crank and if it really runs without any problems. Generally police maintenance is top notch, after sale to the public, so so. I don’t know the 440 market, so all in all you don’t know what you all are getting till you get it running.

    Compression ratio is the big question here. Throughly delve into this before you buy any new parts. Compression and intake charge trapping efficiency are key to making a strong running combination.

    Rockers, non adjustable

    When lifters are preloaded, rocker has no up and down looseness. Bottom inside the rocker seats and rides on the shaft. When rocker is on the shaft, no pushrods in or lifter preload, they are loose.
