Hi all....I've never driven my 65 Dart with an 8 3/4 yet, but I do have a 741 chunk (non SG) Is it worth holding onto? From what I have seen over the years, it doesn't seem that they are that wanted. I'll be putting in a SB 408 with a 4 speed and going with a converted and narrowed truck D60...

Great info from ya'll! I converted from a slant six, so I never had a 9.5 V8 housing...was hoping I wouldn't have to go that route. I am planning on going internal balance as my 360 is going the 408 route. Looks like I have quite a few options here....thanks again!

Modify the clutch linkage as in the z bar or the pivot point? If I run a hydraulic clutch that may eliminate some of the issues altogether maybe....thank you for your response.....

Hi all.....I thought I did my due diligence, but I cannot find it. I have 2 bell housings......2892482 and 3515734. Brewers says A body and some E bodies, but can I use these at all for my 65 Dart with a 360? I cant be stuck with a 9.5 housing....right?

Hi all.....have any of you had your shell dipped? If so, what did you do about the area between the upper and lower windshield cowling? I have both of mine removed right now to replace sheet metal due to corrosion damage (65 dart), but am wondering should I leave my outer off until it gets...

LOL....that would be true. Indeed they did put oil in, but priming I cannot vouch for. I wasn't there.

If I am remembering it correctly, around 10 psi.
