    i welded 1 x 2 x .100 req tube "Under" the stub frames @ front and back creating a box with the body. about 12-16 inches of overlap allows plenty of welding space on both sides. 67 Barracuda runs 12.6's 2 the track, leaves straight, no noticeable flex.

    i run a 410 stroker in my car . 360 magnum based. but if i was doing a car that was more show than go, i would be temped to find a 318 magnum out of a truck. would have to be way cheaper than a 360 and set it up for peppy performance with decent gas milage. Love my 410 but she sucks the gas!!!

    Adding a drain plug 727

    bought a pan from a newer torque flight from rock auto. my pan wouldn't stop leaking as the sealing flange on these get flaky after a while. new pan was deeper and had a drain plug. bonus. dosen't leak and easy to drain. was cheep.
