It is chromed trim, shiny, and is pretty nice. I am impressed. The corners are metal. But I am thinking I may work on a different project instead, and I'm trying to decide whether to keep it all for the future or sell the trim, corners and gasket, maybe as a complete package.

Just a thought, since my slant six runs hot whenever the vacuum advance stops working on my distributor (curse you cheap chinese parts!) and really hot when the mechanical advance sticks too. I would make sure your base is where its supposed to be, then check mechanical with the vacuum...

The manual I looked in had a thing in the combination block to apply pressure to the rear first, and then the front to prevent lockup. I didn't see anything in the master cylinder but I'll go look again. I need one for the 73-76 manual disc/drum conversion myself so i need to make sure I get it...
