Sounds really nice. Illinois? Me too! M,,,,,,ight be interested if it's not too far. Where in Illinois? ( tried sending PM , but your in-box is full ).
look at the I.D. pad below the dist. If it's got a bunch of X's, or maybe it's H's on that pad I'm told that was or hasor is plagued with defects from the factory and was remanned before it left the factory.
Yeah,,,,,,,,, bout as good to be expected. Getting back into building some cars again. Just can't understand why I have to pick the hardest ones to to try to bring back.
Jet up! Or grab a cutting torch tip cleaner and start honing out passages. I knew 1 guy took a BBD and took a torch tip cleaner to it and gave the carb back to the guy he worked it over for. He was clocked at 135mph. Supposedly. Never seen it, so I cannot testify to it.
So,,,,,,,,,,, are you saying that,,,,,,,,,, If I wanted to bore a 318 from a 3.910" bore to a 4.000" should be a cake walk and the " lil " teen can handle it????
Change the subject mildly if you'll allow. Guy was wanting to buy the diffy I have for my Valiant. Says he's got a rebuilt 273 that he's wanting to sell. What's it acutally worth? It runs & drives now. curious.
Weight? dunno! I know I an '04 Jeep Grande Cherokee and I had to slow it down from 80mph. Illinois is the state. however . I think we're wandering off a bit. This isn't anything to do with a 318 build.
Well. I'd say you were correct, considering the piston normally sits ,,,, what,,, .280" maybe,,,,,. And now they're flush with the top's of the pistons.
