look at the I.D. pad below the dist. If it's got a bunch of X's, or maybe it's H's on that pad I'm told that was or hasor is plagued with defects from the factory and was remanned before it left the factory.

Jet up! Or grab a cutting torch tip cleaner and start honing out passages. I knew 1 guy took a BBD and took a torch tip cleaner to it and gave the carb back to the guy he worked it over for. He was clocked at 135mph. Supposedly. Never seen it, so I cannot testify to it.

I did the same thing , but I had options on pistons. S I went with Silvolites. Btw. My CI was 350.96.

I didn't have that issue. I used Silvolite Pistons and paid attention to wrist pin height

They used to produce a 3.000" stroke crank for the 5.9/360's. Some still have a few but won't turn loose.

I also wanted to build a 360/5.9 with a 3" stroke to see how badass that would be screaming down the road.
