I have a set of 29.5x10.5x15 MTs I replaced this week.
Bought them new Oct 2015
They have 154 passes on them will probably go another 150.
One of them has some scuffing on the sidewall when it rubbed the quarter lip when I first installed them.

Mine started missing one day and the computer was showing that it was only charging at 12.3 volts. It was also showing which coils were misfiring.
A new voltage regulator got it back to 14+ volts and all is well.
I run one on a basically stock 05 5.7 with a XFI273 cam and headers.
I haven't had the time to move timing around to find the best setup.
I started with 12 degrees initial and ramp it up to 26 total by 3000.
Map is 0. I don't care about driveability at this point.

It was totally unheard of until the aftermarket did away with the low band apply.
Engine speed needs to exceed 6000 rpm in first gear with a failed sprag and no low band apply before the cast drum comes apart. The drum will spin at 2.2 times the engine rpm in first.

You didn't say what cam it has, but even if it is comparable to the 472 crate Hemi cam, it should be an easy 11 second combination. I would sort out what you have first.
So far I've been 11.83 112.89 with a 5.7 out of a 05 300. Comp XFI273 cam and springs. XV Intake with 750 Holley, TTI Headers 727 3800 converter. 4.10 rear. 2107 DA. Through the exhaust with drag radials.

I'm interested in the measurement you have on your convertible from the edge of the moulding to the center of the rear bow and the edge of the moulding to the bottom of your window. I'd like to see what everyone else has compared to my 67 Barracuda. It may be use full for others replacing their...
I had the same problem.
Clamped the springs in 2 places on the front segment and 1 clamp on the rear segment.Moved the snubber away from the body. It stiffens the springs, slows down the axle rotation and keeps the snubber from the loading and unloading.
