I have the ESPO HD340 6 leaf on my 71. This picture is about 1 year after install. They ride firm but not harsh at all like ABodyjoe said. I have 235/60r15 on 15x7 in rear with 215/70r14 14x5.5 front for reference.

1971 Swinger Special 340 clone project

Decided on a color change on my 71 Swinger Special. Going with how I would have ordered one If I could. Originally it was F3 with a Green base interior. Going GA4 Light Gunmetal and Black Base interior. Since a 318 is basically a small bore 340 I Will be going with a .040 over LA318...

Sad day, but I had to put the car away.

Here in NJ USA most people dont put them away. If its dry with No salt or snow on the road I'm taking it out for a ride. The heat works fantastic. What not? Not good for the car to sit for months anyway.

    Who owns this Dart ???

How was that a useless comment? Maybe, just maybe it was one of your questions for the owner? How the hell do I know? Your negative response was far more useless sir. You must be lots of fun to have around with that negative attitude . Geesh.

    Painting the Dart

If it was my car... I would paint the hood, scoops and roof area to the trim silver or a nice grey that goes well with the main color then take the 340 stickers off the quarter panels. Leave the rest alone other than maybe treating the quarter rust with something to slow it down. Maybe use the...

    1972 Dart front bumper, Repro?

1st, I'm jealous! The bumper was probably made in Canada. The Darts were all built at the Windsor plant in Canada. I bet its a rechrome or an NOS bumper. I was just looking for a front bumper for my late 71. It has the slots. Can't find a repro available anywhere. Only 70-71 non-slots.

    My Dougs D453 install

I had them put in because I had no place to do it at the time. He claimed they went in easier than most and the fit is really nice. 1 dimple right where it gets close to the steering coupler and that could be due to the mounts being a bit old or motor not being completely centered. I have a 71...

Finally getting to it!!! 1970 Duster 340

I really regret selling my 70 340 FC7 Duster in 1993. It had the same base interior only options were P/S, AM radio, 4spd and 3.55:1 surgrip. It was in bad shape needing quarters and extensions, nner rockers and inner wheel housings. Air cleaner and manifolds were missing as well as original...
