    Rocker shaft oil passage?

    Id pull the rockers off and at least clean the shaft out well. That sludge doesnt "dissolve" very easily. As mentioned, they dont get much oil up top but with the oil fill cap off while running, you should be able to see fresh oil on the front rocker arms.

    I completely agree Rick. It's a shop truck that we use for deliveries at our manufacturing business. One of those "should leave well enough alone". I'll likely do that and leave the "tinkering" for the hot rod projects.
