    Which Carb/Intake Combo?

The SP2P is a dual plane intake with very small runner cross section. It is an intake built specifically for torque and fuel economy

    Which Carb/Intake Combo?

I have a factory 66 273 commando intake I want to try on the 318 in my truck. If I don't like it I will swap in a smaller cam and put the SP2P back on. The D100 has a granny gear NP trans.

How about if you are running caltracs? I am doing a Dana 60 for my 70 Dart and still have to weld the perches on.

    Which Carb/Intake Combo?

I did not look up the cam specs, I thought it would be a fair bit bigger than stock but I will take your word for it. I know the cam in my 68 D100 is not a good match for that intake.

    Which Carb/Intake Combo?

I have an SP2P on a 318 with a cam and 600 cfm eddy carb and it falls flat on its face at 4,000 rpm. I bought the truck the way it is so I have no clue what cam is in it but it is definitely not stock. I would use either a Weiand Stealth or performer 318/360 on a mild build. The SP2P is more for...

    [Found!] LA Small Block

I have a cheap 318 for you. I met you at the mopar drags at Maple Grove a few years ago. It is supposed to only have 60,000 miles on it and out of a junked Mirada. I am just south of Philly. Send me a pm and we can talk details.

    360 4-speed manual transmission?

You can swap the mainshaft and extension housing to make it an A/F body trans. I did that with my 1970 heavy duty A833 with the bigger 308 bearings. Bought a custom extension housing from Jamie Passon because there is no factory A-body piece for the bigger bearing.

Won't go into first when warm/Reverse Grind when warm

Heat is the main culprit. The disc has an amount crush built into it with the steel in between the friction material. If it distorts it can cause the clutch to drag. I doubt it would be the pilot though it is possible. Do you have a bushing or bearing?

Won't go into first when warm/Reverse Grind when warm

Sounds like your clutch is dragging. Could be an adjustment problem. Also could be a warped disc.

    Port injected low deck project.

The idea behind the divider is for better fuel distribution on the original wet runner set up. It is supposed to keep the previous cylinder on the 2-1 4-3 6-5 pairings from stealing the next cylinders charge. I am not sure it is needed in a dry runner system. Would you recommend a top entry...

    Port injected low deck project.

I want to build a ram jet style port injection system for a 400 B motor. It is going in a stick shift 70 Dart Swinger. The trans is a 1970 heavy duty A833 with the bigger 308 bearings and the rear is a 3.73 Dana 60 with power lock. The motor is .020 over with zero decked kb pistons, forged 383...

What are it's main flaws? Do the head gaskets blow? Valve train problems? Bottom ends give out?

I just finished setting up the 3.73 gears and power lock diff in the stock width Dana 60 for my 70 Dart Swinger. I need to weld the spring perches on now. Should I just duplicate the angle of an 8 ¾ housing? I have a good E-body housing to use as a guide. My car has 002-003 super stock springs...

    '70 swinger low buck build

Been a rough stretch in my life but getting back to building my projects. Going to concentrate primarily on this one. I got a nice used set of 3.73 gears for free out of a ford van that was going to the scrap yard. Just finished setting them up. Need to buy axles now and also weld on the spring...

Why build a 2,000 hp capable rod for a block that can't handle that kind of power? I don't think there is really a market except for the guys that just want parts that are overkill for their application. Not many 2,000 hp stock block mopars. I have done a bunch of reading on the gen III but as you know not all information on the Internet is correct. It is nice to know that someone has actual build experience. 2004 truck 5.7 core

I got all the pushrods all marked with location and top/bottom. The intakes are longer on the Eagle heads because they raised the port and rocker shaft. I was wondering about cams and aftermarket lifters with this being a positive stop system.
