The 71 Duster Sharadon Performance built was pretty cool. IIRC I think the slant 6 was close to 600hp but. It had a lot of custom work and was supercharged.

I’m swapping the drive gear out on the distributor. Is there any other nylon gear that better than the other? Or is one from Doman(local parts store has one) as good as any? My car is a 71 Swinger with a 225.

Just wanted to give an update and say thanks. I finally found a little time to work on my Swinger. You guys were right on. A few taps with a hammer and punch on the tabs of the brake pad and my rattle is gone. I greatly appreciate the help from all of you.

Going to check it and see if that’s what it is. Will be great if it’s something that simple. Sometimes you miss the obvious stuff.

I have a 71 Dart Swinger that I converted from drum to disc. I pulled the manual disc set up from a 74 Dart Sport. The conversation is done and works fine but. I have a rattle from the passenger side disc brake pad. It started out as an occasional rattle but as the pad wears it’s getting worse...

I'm getting ready to replace the weather stripping on my 71 Swinger. It's the one that runs along the roof for the door and rear side windows. I wanted to know does it just pop in or do I need sealer to hold it in place? Any advice/help would be appreciated. Thanks
