Weird dreams.....let's see some of yours!

I dream a lot and have had some bazaar ones over the years. I have never uncovered a Russian plot or took anybody out that I remember. Dreams can be disturbing though. Many of mine had to do with being at work, even long after I retired. I've had a couple presidents show up in my dreams, which...

    Vintage Mopar Dealership Pictures

Karl Gould Chrysler-Plymouth in Vestal NY, circa 1970. There were two In-Violet Hemi Cudas in the show room. My buddy bought the one with the white vinyl top, white hockey stripe and white interior. This is the other one.

    Jimacuda passed away Sept 30th

So sorry to hear that, and at such a young age. We went to the Pavilion a few times when our kids lived in Scottsdale. Talked to most of the Mopar guys there, so don't know if I might have met him. Prayers for Jim's family and friends.

Dumb Mopar moves - this should be fun

NOT ME, but my younger brother. Our brother-in-law bought a new car and sold his old one to my brother for $1. It was a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere in red, with a black vinyl top and black bucket seat interior. It was ALSO a 4 speed car with a 383 4bbl, and limited slip rear. It was well maintained...

Dumb Mopar moves - this should be fun

Probably too many to count but; 1. At 14 or 15 years old, I bought a 56 Desoto with 330 hemi, and thought it was too rusty to save (it wasn't). Engine ran perfectly, until I tore it down. It went to the junk yard. (Yep, that's what they used to call them). 2. Trading my 69 Barracuda, 340 4spd...

    69 GTS 383

Who in NY did the assembly work for you? Turned out fantastic. Such a clean looking build.
  19. SpikeWills69

    Hey, everybody!

WELCOME to FABO. Love the 62's as they were a real departure from the norm. I was an eleven year old kid, when my neighbor returned home from serving in Germany in the Army. He immediately bought a new white Valiant slanty with three on the tree. It would have been an 1960 I think. He drove the...

    Stuff I do while Truckin

We really appreciate your photos and travelogue. We have visited Arlington and the VN Wall several times. We were at Arlington for the burial of my uncles remains in the early nineties. He was my Dad's youngest brother, was in the 82nd Airborne in WWII and was killed in Operation Market...

In an effort to give back to the community...

I would expect there are some folks out there who would want these. However, one of the first "upgrades" I did on my 74 Duster was to remove the bumper guards, LOL.

    Jay's 1968 Dart GTS, 383 4 Spd

This is a gorgeous 68 GTS, that IMHO checks all the boxes. Don't roast Jay for saying "rock crusher" LOL. Good episode from Jay Leno's Garage.

Really sorry to hear that, it really stinks. Hoping you get a big break real soon.

Is there any value to these old parts other than scrap value ???

I would put it on multiple sites, such as H.A.M.B etc. I scrapped some stuff the last time I moved, and regretted it later. I can see Rat-Rodders wanting some of that stuff, (for cheap). At least think it through thoroughly.

    REGRET

Thanks for sharing, and hope you are doing ok physically. I looked at a leftover 71 Demon 340 before I bought my 72 Duster 340 new. The Demon was an automatic and so I passed. Pretty sure it was Jamaica Blue. The Duster was a 4 speed, and and despite the lower compression in 72, and that it...

Here is a link to some very cool photos of Mopar's High Impact Colors. Not sure how complete or correct it is, but looks pretty good. Too many E-bodies, but still cool. I hope this hasn't been posted before. https://news.classicindustries.com/mopar-paint-high-impact-colors
