Well, do I feel stupid!! The tranny was included in a parts car purchase and I ASSUMED the seller knew what he was talking about. Clearly I didn't have a clue! I'll still use the tranny (I think I'll take the OD knob off) in the 62 with the 72 /6 engine. I intend to start the swap in October...
